Tickets for our Maverick Senior Night football game are on sale online at https://www.marshallisd.com/o/athletics now. You may also come by the Y. A. Tittle Athletic Fieldlhouse ticket window from 7:30 am - 4 pm Tuesday thru Thursday and from 7:30am-Noon on Friday to purchase tickets in advance. Reserved seats are $9 and $10 (Sections B, C, and D) and general admission to Section E is $8 in advance. All tickets at the gate on game night will be $10.
Please remember the Clear Bag Policy is in effect, no purses, backpacks, totes etc.

Marshall Independent School District and the Marshall Police Department will hold an Active Shooter Exercise during Fall Break on October 20, 2022.



Marshall ISD is saddened to hear of the passing of one of our teachers, Rosalyn Hill. Rosalyn was a teacher at William B. Travis and was a dedicated employee of MISD for over 20 years. The Maverick Family will miss her greatly, and her family and friends are in our thoughts.

Marshall ISD is saddened to hear of the loss of a former employee, Carolyn Taylor. As a longtime dedicated employee at MISD for over 20 years, Ms. Taylor became loved by many in the Maverick Family and will be deeply missed. We ask that you keep her family in your thoughts.


We have received sad news for Marshall ISD. Anne Newman, a former MISD educator for over 30 years, has passed away. Anne was a longtime teacher and student council sponsor at Marshall High School who made lifelong impacts on her students. She was much loved and will be missed by many of her former students, colleagues, and friends. Please keep her family in your thoughts during this time.

This morning we held the first Student Advisory Council meeting of the school year. Students met with Superintendent Dr. Richele Langley and shared their ideas and feedback. We were excited to see new and returning faces and look forward to working with them throughout the school year.

Check out WBT's new Sensory Room! This room will help students improve fine and gross motor skills and help them learn how to self-regulate behaviors, improving their ability to focus.




MHS will be closed to students on Thursday and Friday while we continue with fire restoration. The 200 hall and CTE wing are being deep cleaned and having air filters replaced.
All MHS staff will need to report to work on Thursday and Friday at the regular start time. Mr. Gregory and the MHS Administration will provide the staff with additional information on Thursday morning.
DEAP will have school on Thursday and Friday.

Today is Texas Education Human Resources Day! We would like to recognize our Human Resources staff and all of the hard work they do every day!


On Wednesday, October 19th, MISD students are encouraged to wear and share the color orange as a way to work to prevent bullying for Unity Day!



Due to a fire in the auto shop classroom this morning, there will be no school for Marshall High School students tomorrow, October 12th. This is to ensure the building is aired out and rooms are ready for students. All other campuses will continue to have school on Wednesday.

We are proud of our athletes for reaching an almost 90% passing rate in the first six weeks. These students are striving for excellence on and off the field! #GYHU
