Due to ongoing water issues across the city, Marshall ISD will ancel classes for Monday, January 8th. The MISD staff has been at each campus this evening and there is either very low water pressure or no water at every campus. There will be more information from MISD tomorrow as we find out more from the City of Marshall.

Tickets for the playoff game this Friday, November 17th, against Midlothian Heritage in Athens can be purchased at the ticket window of the Y. A. Tittle Fieldhouse starting at 10:00 am! Cash or card! No online tickets!
The ticket window will be open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, tickets may be purchased from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.
Students - $5
Adults - $8
All tickets will be $10 at the gate. The Mavericks will be Visitors.
Due to the number of student groups, employees, and community members traveling to Athens for the football playoff game, Marshall ISD will have early release on Friday, November 17th. This decision is made to ensure timely and safe travel for all students, parents, and staff traveling to Athens on Friday afternoon.
MECC/Elementary will release at 12:06 p.m.
MHS/MJHS will release at 12:26 p.m.

Hey, Maverick fans!
There will be a light show during the pregame for the Maverick football game tonight. Please be aware of any medical conditions that this might affect. An announcement will be made before it begins.
The City of Marshall has informed us that David Crockett should receive water pressure soon. If you would still like to come check out your student you will be able to. There is a plan in place to move students to a campus with water if need be, but at this time we will stay at David Crockett.
We would like to thank you for your patience as we have waited for information from the city on the repair.
We are still without water at David Crockett and have not received an update from the city on timeline. Students are able to eat lunch and parents are able to pick up their students without it counting as an absence. The last time to check your student out will be at 12:30.
The City has informed us there is a water main break which affects our campus, David Crockett. We will have an update for you in 30 minutes to an hour.
The Marshall High School Fine Arts Department will present Once Upon A Mattress this weekend on November 11th and November 12th!
Once Upon A Mattress is full of laughs, fun music, and entertainment for the whole family!
The Secure at Marshall High School has now been lifted.
Marshall High School has been notified of MPD searching for a suspect in the area. Out of an abundance of caution, we have placed the school in Secure. All students, staff and parents will need to enter through the main office.
Congratulations to the Big Red Pride for earning straight 1s at their UIL competition yesterday! The band will advance to Area on October 28th in Mesquite! Go Mavericks!

Fall Break is October 16th-20th! There is no school for students on Monday, October 23rd, for staff development day.
