Parent and Guardians,
MECC had an unscheduled fire drill this morning. Teachers and students did a great job of exiting the building efficiently and quickly returned to class.

Hello MECC families, Beginning this week, our campus will be under construction. This is going to give MECC a much needed facelift and modernize our facility. Our goal through the construction is to keep student safe. The doors used for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal will not be in use. The route for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal will be changed. We will have a major traffic change. Vehicles will enter the line on Meredith Street. No vehicles will be in line on Hollis Taylor. This will cause a major shirt in traffic and the 4 way stop will regulate the taking of turns. After dropping off your student, take a right. Our staff members will be on Meadow Street to open car doors and monitor students as they enter and exit. The hate Bear the flagpole will be the gate that is utilized. Meadow Street is directly in front of the school. Please be patient with fellow drivers, staff, and students as this change will take time for us to adjust. Thank you for your patience. We look forward to the new updates to the building that the children of Marshall deserve.
East Texas Baptist University will be hosting a Fall Fest on Monday, October 10. Fun begins at 5:30 and lasts until 7:00. Have fun playing games and winning candy!!
