Each participating restaurant was presented a certificate of appreciation by Chief Arledge, who personally visited each business to thank them for their participation in the MISD Police Department’s student incentive program.

Chief Arledge began the "Chow Down with the Chief" program in 2016-2017 as a way to develop positive relationships between law enforcement and community, and students. Each week, the chief visits an MISD campus and escorts lucky students chosen by their principals for good citizenship, behavior and grades, and treats them to lunch at a participating Marshall restaurant.

Restaurants recognized for their contributions to the program included Golden Corral, Pizza Hut, Jalapeno Tree, Gucci’s, CiCi’s Pizza, and Jucy’s Hamburgers.

MISD thanks these businesses for their support of our students and our schools!
