Autism Moms of East Texas

• PURPOSE/MOTTO: "Love and Support for those who Love and Support"
• AUDIENCE: Mothers of students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities
• MEETING TIMES: THIRD Monday of each month (@11am-12pm), at the Learning Resource Center, beginning in September and ending in May.

Learning Differences Parent Network (LDPN)

• PURPOSE: To provide a support system and resource channel for parents/guardians of "Different Learners" to educate on, advocate for, and appreciate the unique gifts of their individual student. We advocate for the needs of every child who learns differently; educate on the truths about different learners' individual academic gifts, and appreciate that every child is unique in the way he/she learns.
• AUDIENCE:  Parents of students from all grade levels with learning differences including but not limited to: Attention Deficit Disorders, Dyslexia, Sensory Integration Disorders, Oppositional Defiance and Behavioral Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and Autism.
• MEETING TIMES: FIRST Monday of each month (@ 5:15 pm), at the Learning Resource Center, beginning in October and concluding in May - with an open month in January to accommodate the return from the Christmas Break.
