Kyle Nichols has been Theatre Arts teacher at Marshall High School since 2014-15. He came to MISD from Winona ISD and has been a Theatre Arts teacher in Marshall, Winona, and Lubbock for five years. A 2010 graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA degree in Theatre Arts, he is a member of TETA and has also been associated with UIL “Under The Stars Theatre Camp,” Hub Performing Arts School, Hub Theatre Group, Experimental Artists Theatre, and is a certified UIL One-Act Play judge.

While at MHS, Mr. Nichols’ students have presented numerous productions and have become well-known in the community for quality work. Their most recent production is an updated satirical treatment of a classic, written by Mr. Nichols, “Alice In WonderLAnd”.

Mr. Nichols wants his students to learn to appreciate, understand, and use what they’ve learned in his classes to better their lives; hopefully, to encourage students to pursue a life in theatre.
