Welcome to Marshall ISD!

The Marshall Independent School District proudly serves approximately 5,500 students every year as the only public school district in Marshall, Texas. MISD has seven campuses serving students in Pre-K through 12th grade. These campuses include an early childhood center, four K-5 elementary schools, a junior high for grades 6-8, and Marshall High School for students in grades 9-12. Marshall High School is the centerpiece of the district and is one of Marshall's most notable landmarks for those driving into town via U.S. Highway 59 or Texas Highway 43. MHS has consistently met state accountability standards and is a full-fledged 9-12 AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) campus. MISD has a designated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Academy at Sam Houston Elementary School, and the STEM program now serves students in grades K-8 in the district. The original goal of the district's STEM program, first implemented in 2014, is to become a full-fledged, K-12 STEM district.
